*I was able to review the Walmart Family Mobile plan as a part of a sponsored post through the Collective Bias Social Fabric Community. As always, I only review things that I really love and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I met my husband Grant our senior year of high school. We started dating pretty quickly, and stuck together through college, even though we were apart a lot. We got married a few months after we graduated and moved to Orlando, Florida. 10 months later, we had our son Benjamin, and 16 months after that, our daughter Lyla was born. Even though our kids are the best thing to ever happen to us, having them both so quickly when we were still just starting our lives has made things difficult. Grant has especially worked so hard to make ends meet, and has sacrificed so much to make sure that we have everything we need.
All year, I've been hoping to get him a smart phone for Christmas. He still has a "dumb phone" as he calls it, and is limited to just 300 minutes a month. Plus, he can barely even see the picture messages I send him, and I feel like he's missing out on a lot. However, since we are now expecting a little boy in March, we are spending and saving all of our money on doctor and hospital bills, and I didn't want to have to sign up for some 2 year expensive contract for smart phone service. I wanted to find the best unlimited plans. #FamilyMobileSaves
Then I heard about Walmart Family Mobile. The plan is amazing, and the best part is, there are NEVER any overage charges or contracts. You are simply billed for your service at the end of the month. For 39.88 per month, you can get unlimited talk, text, and web. (The web includes 2.5 GB of data per month at high speeds. Once you've reached that limit, you won't be charged extra, but your speed will slow down.) This plan is perfect for us, PLUS I was thrilled to find that there are plenty of affordable quality phones. You can also easily manage your phone service online.
So after a little bit of research, I loaded the kids into the car and headed to Walmart. I wanted them to be a part of this present, because they will love giving it to their Daddy almost as much as he will enjoy receiving it. (Lyla was sad I wouldn't let her pull everything off the shelves, haha.)
We picked out the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G phone. I know that Grant will LOVE it! Plus, what surprised me the most was that we will be paying the same amount each month that we were paying for his sad little phone's 300 minutes. Grant will love it even more when he finds this out!
Benjamin held that phone all over the store. He is so excited to give Daddy his new phone. I know he's going to want to help me wrap it (I've already got some fun wrapping plans). We can't wait to give it to him for Christmas this year!
